The term "images" applies to anything that is not text - i.e.,
photographs, drawings, charts, figures, etc. Images must be submitted
according to these guidelines:
- All cover and interior images must be scanned at a minimum resolution of at
least 72 dpi (for eBook publication) or 300 dpi (for POD
publication).
- All interior images must be at the exact size you want them to appear in
the book, but no larger than 4 inches wide and 6 inches high.
- Only a cover image may be submitted in color. All images to be placed
within the text must be in black and white.
- Images must be saved as a PSD or TIFF files, in CMYK palette.
- Send images separately from the text.
- Every image should be named.
- Placement instructions must appear exactly where the image is to appear in
the text. For example, placement for the image file cat.jpg should be notated
with the instruction "insert cat.jpg here."
- Do not embed (paste) image files into the text of your book.

We suggest that you send submissions of any sort-and especially those including
artwork-via certified mail, UPS, Federal Express, or using a method that allows
tracking, in case your submission is lost in the mail. PLEASE SEND COPIES ONLY.
We do not provide return service of images and artwork.
