Publishing Instructions - POD Program

Follow this simple, five-step process to prepare your manuscript for publication as a print-on-demand (POD) book. You will not be charged until you approve your book for printing.

Step 1

Look at our Publish a Book page for information about our publishing programs, pricing, royalties, and additional services. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Step 2

Make sure your manuscript meets our publication requirements for print-on-demand publishng. If you would like to engage Fultus for editorial services, please contact us to receive custom quote based on your manuscript. Otherwise, please proofread your work; it should not require any corrections or alterations.

Step 3

Prepare the following book materials for your submission:

• Your entire manuscript in a single word processing file, in Microsoft Word (for Windows or Macintosh), Rich Text Format (RTF), or as a Text file with clear formatting.
• Author's cover biography: Maximum 100 words. A short, one-paragraph description of yourself that will appear on the back cover of your book.
• Author Biography: Maximum 1,000 words. A longer description of yourself or a message to your readers. This text will appear on the author biography page that readers view when they click on your name within the Fultus eLibrary™ Web site.
• Dedication: (Optional) Maximum 100 words. This text will appear at the beginning of your book.
• Book Summary: Maximum 100 words. A short, one-paragraph description of your book that appears on the back cover and with your book listing on the Fultus Online Book Superstore Web site and will be provided to book wholesalers and retailers.
• Book Description: Maximum 1,000 words. A longer description of your book that appears on your book's page on the Fultus eLibrary™ Web site.
• Excerpt Chapter: Maximum 4,000 words. Let us know what chapter/passages you would like to use. Chapter Excerpt will appear on the Authors Web Page on Fultus eLibrary™ website.
• Keywords: Maximum 12 words. Words that will make your book easy to find in a bookstore search.

Step 4

Prepare your Author photo image on disk at a resolution of 300 dpi or better. You can send disk-based images on a floppy disk or on a CD-ROM. If you wish to include images throughout your book, please make sure you have carefully identified the locations in the text where they are to be placed. Do not embed (paste) images into your manuscript. Click here for more details.

Step 5

Download and compete our publishing order form (from Publish a Book page). Before downloading the order form, you must read and accept Fultus's non-exclusive Publishing Agreement.

Step 6

Send your order form, payment information, and book materials to Fultus. The order form must be mailed in hard copy, while book materials can be sent on CD or by electronic mail. You will not be charged until you approve your book for publishing.
